Turn on the Atomato app embed

Atomato adds its bell, feed and messages to your storefront through a Shopify theme app embed called Atomato. Nothing from Atomato shows on your store until the embed is switched on and saved in your live theme. It needs no theme code.

Turn it on from Atomato

1. Open Atomato in your Shopify admin.
2. If the embed is off, the home page shows a yellow banner, Atomato is not activated. Click Activate.
3. Your live theme's editor opens in a new tab on App embeds. Switch on Atomato.
4. Click Save in the theme editor, then go back to the Atomato tab.

After you click Activate, Atomato checks your live theme about every 10 seconds and removes the banner once the embed is saved as on.

Turn it on in the theme editor

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
2. Next to your live theme, click Customize.
3. In the theme editor's left sidebar, click the App embeds icon.
4. Find Atomato and switch it on.
5. Click Save.

If you switched the embed on from the theme editor, reload Atomato's home page to clear the banner.

If you change themes

App embeds are saved per theme. When you publish a different theme, switch on the Atomato embed in that theme too, and save. The Atomato is not activated banner on Atomato's home page tells you when your live theme is missing it.
