Questions about Theme Launcher
Short answers on plans, time zones, your Atomato messages and what happens at each switch.
Is Theme Launcher on the Free plan?
Yes. Theme Launcher is on every plan, including Free. On Free, you can't save a Theme Launcher campaign while a different one is between its start and end times. Paid plans don't have this limit.
Will my Atomato messages still show after the switch?
Yes, as long as the Atomato app embed is on in the theme that goes live. App embeds are saved per theme and Theme Launcher doesn't check them, so turn the embed on in the event theme before the switch. If you placed the bell with Add using snippet, add the snippet to that theme's header as well.
Which time zone are the times in?
The time zone of the device you schedule from, not your store's time zone. Start and end times are on the hour.
Do I have to switch back automatically?
No, the switch back is optional. Without an end time, Atomato publishes the event theme at the start time and marks the campaign Completed, and the event theme stays live. To switch back, tick the theme switching box, choose an After event theme that differs from the During event theme, and set an end date and time. Without the end date and time, the switch back won't happen.
How will I know the switch happened?
Check Online Store > Themes in Shopify after each switch. The campaign status changes at the scheduled time whether or not the theme was published. If Shopify can't publish a theme, Atomato emails the addresses turned on in Settings > Email notifications.
Can I change a switch after I schedule it?
Yes. Click Edit next to the campaign, change the themes or times, and save to reschedule it. Before the switch, keep the start time in the future, because a start time that has passed never runs. During the event, you can still change the After event theme or move the end time, as long as the new end time is still ahead.
