Refund policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

This policy explains how you pay for Atomato, how to change or cancel your plan, and when charges are credited or refunded. Atomato is provided by Binaery LLC d/b/a Atomato ("Atomato", "we", "us"). Please read it together with our terms of service. If you have a separate written agreement with us that sets different billing terms, that agreement applies where it differs from this policy.

Current plans and prices are on our pricing page.

1. How billing works

  • Atomato bills through Shopify. You approve each paid plan on Shopify's confirmation page, and the charges appear on your Shopify bill with your other apps. You can see and download your bills in your Shopify admin under Settings > Billing.
  • Prices are in US dollars. If your Shopify bill is in another currency, Shopify converts the charge at its own exchange rate, which can include a currency exchange fee.
  • Monthly plans are billed every 30 days and yearly plans once a year. Shopify adds each recurring charge to your Shopify bill.
  • The Free plan (also called Starter) costs nothing and needs no card.
  • If we have agreed a custom price with you, it is also billed through Shopify, and you see it on Shopify's confirmation page before you approve.
  • Only the store owner, or a staff account with Shopify's Manage app billing permission, can choose or change a plan.

See Find your billing history and invoices.

2. Free trial

  • Scale and Enterprise+ include a free trial of up to 14 days, unless we have agreed a different trial with you.
  • The trial is counted from the day you install Atomato, not from the day you choose a paid plan. If you choose a paid plan after the trial has run out, there is no trial.
  • If you uninstall and reinstall Atomato before your store's data is deleted, the trial keeps counting from your original install.
  • Shopify's confirmation page shows how many trial days you have left before you approve.
  • Changing plans doesn't start a new trial. If you change plans during your trial, the new plan keeps the trial days you have left.
  • If you move to the Free plan or uninstall Atomato before the trial ends, you are not charged.
  • When the trial ends, Shopify starts billing the plan you chose.

See How the free trial works.

3. Changing plans

You change plans on the Billing page in Atomato and approve paid plans on Shopify's confirmation page. Shopify works out how each change is charged, using the rules below. Change your plan has step-by-step instructions.

Upgrading

  • The new plan starts as soon as you approve it. Its features are available once Shopify confirms the change to Atomato.
  • If you upgrade from the Free plan, billing starts when your trial ends, or when you approve the plan if you have no trial days left.
  • If you are already paying for a plan, Shopify charges a prorated amount for the rest of your current billing cycle, based on what you have already paid, the difference in price and the days left in the cycle.
  • Moving from monthly to yearly billing also takes effect as soon as you approve it.

Moving to a cheaper paid plan

For example, moving from Enterprise+ to Scale:

  • On a monthly plan, the cheaper plan starts as soon as you approve it, and Shopify credits the price difference for the days left in your billing cycle.
  • On a yearly plan, if you move to a cheaper yearly plan or to any monthly plan, Shopify keeps your current plan until the end of your yearly billing cycle and starts the new plan after that.
  • When the new plan starts, campaigns it doesn't include are set to draft. For example, moving from Enterprise+ to Scale sets NotiEmail campaigns to draft. No campaign is deleted.

To move from yearly to monthly billing on the same plan, contact us.

Legacy plans

Once you move off a legacy plan, such as Grow or Pro, you can't choose it again.

4. Moving to the Free plan

To stop paying and keep using Atomato, go to Billing in Atomato, click Downgrade in the Cancel or downgrade card, then click Downgrade to Free.

  • Your paid plan is canceled as soon as you click. This applies to monthly and yearly plans.
  • Shopify credits the unused part of your current billing period. Shopify's help center says application credits from a mid-cycle downgrade can be used towards future app purchases on Shopify.
  • If you are still in your free trial, you are not charged.
  • Once Shopify confirms the cancellation, your store moves to the Free plan's limits. One NotiFeed and one NotiPop campaign are kept as they are: the newest active one of each type, or the newest one if none of that type is active. Every other campaign, except completed or canceled ones, is set to draft and its schedule is removed, NotiSell discounts are switched off, and your NotiFeed and NotiPop styles go back to a standard look.
  • No campaign is deleted. If you upgrade again later, you can restart drafted campaigns from Campaigns.

The Uninstall button in the same card does the same thing once you confirm: it cancels your paid plan, with the same credit, but it doesn't remove Atomato from your store. To remove the app, uninstall it from Shopify, as described in section 5.

See Cancel your plan or uninstall Atomato.

5. Uninstalling Atomato

To uninstall, go to Settings > Apps in your Shopify admin, open the menu next to Atomato and click Uninstall. Shopify's documentation says that when you uninstall an app:

  • Shopify cancels the app's subscription automatically, and future billing cycles stop.
  • No credit is applied for the rest of a billing period you have already paid for.
  • A charge that Shopify has already added to your upcoming Shopify bill may still be billed.

If you uninstall during your free trial, you are not charged. If you are past your trial and want the credit for the unused part of your billing period, move to the Free plan first, as described in section 4, and then uninstall.

For more on how Shopify handles app charges when you uninstall, see Uninstalling apps in Shopify's help center. For what happens to your data, see What happens to your data when you uninstall Atomato?

6. Refunds

Apart from the credits Shopify applies automatically when you move to a cheaper plan or to the Free plan, as described in sections 3 and 4, fees are not refunded. This includes unused time on a plan and the rest of a billing period when you uninstall. It also applies if your access is suspended or ended under our terms of service. This doesn't affect any refund the law requires.

Charges made in error are handled as described in section 7.

7. Billing errors and duplicate charges

If you think Atomato has charged you in error, for example twice for the same plan and period, email support@atomato.co. Shopify's help center says refunds for app charges are handled by the app developer, not by Shopify, so please contact us directly. Shopify also suggests contacting the app developer about a refund before you uninstall.

Please include your store's myshopify.com address and the date and amount of the charge as shown on your Shopify bill.

We check the charge against Shopify's billing records, including any credit Shopify has already applied, and reply by email. If we confirm that you were charged in error, we correct it through Shopify.

8. Taxes

Atomato's prices don't include taxes. Where Shopify is required to charge taxes on your account charges, Shopify adds them to your Shopify bill, and this can include app charges such as Atomato's.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example when Shopify changes how app billing works. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
