FAQ
Questions about Atomato analytics
Short answers on tabs, plans, update times and revenue.
What does each tab on the Analytics page show?
The Summary tab puts store results, revenue by module and performance over time in one view, and splits impressions, clicks and hovers between shoppers signed in to a customer account and everyone else. Each module has its own tab: NotiFeed and NotiPop show revenue, clicks and engagements, the NotiSell tab adds a recommendation funnel, basket impact and breakdowns by feed slot, purchase type and recommendation method, and the NotiEmail tab shows the capture funnel and the codes issued and redeemed. See Read the Analytics page in Atomato.
Which reports come with each plan?
Every plan, including the free Starter plan, shows impressions, clicks and attributed revenue. Scale adds hovers, dismissals, engagement rates, funnels, results for each message, the NotiSell tab and Refresh analytics, and Enterprise+ adds the NotiEmail tab. Hovers and dismissals are only recorded while your store is on a paid plan, so they stay empty for dates before an upgrade. Compare plans.
How often do the numbers update?
Impressions, clicks, hovers, dismissals and email and SMS captures update every six hours (UTC). Attributed revenue, orders and abandoned cart value are current each time you open a report. On Scale, Refresh analytics brings in the latest numbers once every 30 minutes, and on Enterprise+ once every 10 minutes. Activity in your theme editor and in Atomato's previews is never counted. See When Atomato analytics update, and how to refresh them.
What are abandoned cart value and recovery rate?
Abandoned cart value is the products added to cart after a click that have no matched order once six hours have passed since the click. It can still become attributed revenue if the shopper checks out in the same browser within 30 days of the click. Recovery rate is confirmed revenue divided by confirmed revenue plus abandoned value. See How Atomato attributes revenue to your campaigns.
Why don't the numbers match Shopify or my email platform?
Each tool counts sales by its own rules, and one order can be credited in several of them, so don't add their totals together. Atomato counts the products added after a click rather than whole orders, dates them by the click in UTC and doesn't subtract refunds or returns. Read Atomato revenue as a share of Total store revenue for the same dates, not as extra sales. See Why Atomato numbers differ from Shopify and other tools.
