Change your plan
Upgrade, downgrade or switch to yearly billing from the Billing page, and what changes on your store when you do.
You change plans on the Billing page in Atomato. Paid plans are approved on Shopify's confirmation page, and the charge goes on your Shopify bill.
Only the store owner, or a staff account with Shopify's Manage app billing permission, can change the plan. See Fix "Permission required" for staff accounts.
Upgrade
- In Atomato, click Billing in the sidebar.
- On the Free plan, the plans are already showing. On Scale, click Upgrade in the What Enterprise+ adds box, or View all plans to see every plan.
- Choose Monthly or Annual above the plans (it starts on Monthly), then click Upgrade to Scale or Upgrade to Enterprise+. If you haven't chosen a plan yet, the buttons read Start with Scale and Start with Enterprise+.
- Check the price and trial on Shopify's confirmation page, and approve.
| Current plan | Cost | Billing cycle | Next bill |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scale | $49.99 / month | Monthly | Oct 12, 2026 |
New features unlock as soon as Shopify confirms the change to Atomato. Changing plans doesn't start a new free trial.
Switch to yearly billing
On a monthly Scale or Enterprise+ plan, Billing shows how much you would save by paying for the year, with a Go annual button. Click it and approve the yearly charge on Shopify's confirmation page. To go from yearly back to monthly billing, contact us.
Move from Enterprise+ to Scale
- On the Billing page, in the Cancel or downgrade card, click Downgrade to show the plans.
- Choose Monthly or Annual (it starts on Monthly), then click Downgrade to Scale.
- Approve on Shopify's confirmation page.
Once Shopify confirms the change, NotiEmail and NotiSMS campaigns are set to draft, because Scale doesn't include them. Integrations are locked on Scale too. Their settings stay saved, and you can use them again when you move back to Enterprise+.
Move to Free
- On the Billing page, in the Cancel or downgrade card, click Downgrade to show the plans. On Scale, View all plans works too.
- Click Downgrade to Free on the Free card.
There is no confirmation step. Your paid subscription is cancelled as soon as you click, Shopify credits the unused part of your billing period, and your store moves to the Free plan's limits as soon as Shopify confirms the cancellation:
- One NotiFeed and one NotiPop campaign are left as they are: the newest active one of each type, or, if none of that type is active, the newest one, which keeps its current status.
- Those two show only their first message on your store.
- Every other campaign is set to draft, including NotiSell, NotiEmail and scheduled theme launches, and their schedules are removed.
- NotiSell discounts are switched off.
- Your NotiFeed and NotiPop styles switch to a standard look, your store shows the default bell instead of a custom bell icon, and Atomato branding shows again.
No campaign is deleted. After you upgrade again, start drafted campaigns from Campaigns. Your styles don't come back on their own, so set your colors, font and bell again under Settings > NotiFeed styling and NotiPop styling, and click Save.
Emails about plan changes
Atomato emails every address that is turned on in Settings > Email notifications whenever your plan changes, even if the campaign email boxes are unticked. See Choose who gets Atomato email notifications.
