Does Atomato replace my popup, email or SMS app?

No. Atomato adds on-site messages and signup forms to your store and works alongside the popup, email and SMS apps you already use. New email and SMS subscribers go to the platform you connect.

What Atomato adds next to your current tools

• NotiFeed: a notification bell that opens a feed of messages. Shoppers open it when they are ready.
• NotiPop: a small, non-blocking message on the page for promos and timely updates.
• NotiSell: product recommendations shoppers can add to cart from the feed.
• NotiEmail and NotiSMS: signup forms inside the feed for shoppers who choose to join your list.

Atomato doesn't switch off, change or hide any other app. Your popup and your email and SMS flows keep running as they do today. For a fuller overview, see What is Atomato?

Where new email and SMS subscribers go

Each NotiEmail campaign sends signups to the platform you choose in its Email Opt-in or SMS Opt-in step, so new subscribers join the contacts you already manage there:

• Email: Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Omnisend or Drip. With Klaviyo and Mailchimp, you pick the Email list new subscribers join. Omnisend and Drip need no list: new subscribers are added straight to your contacts there.
• SMS: Klaviyo, or Mailchimp when the email step also uses Mailchimp. You pick the SMS audience new subscribers join. Attentive is listed but can't be chosen yet: it is Coming soon.

You can't save the campaign until each step has a connected platform and, for Klaviyo or Mailchimp, a list or audience. If the platform is disconnected later, new signups from that step can't go through until you reconnect it. The full setup is in Collect email and SMS signups with NotiEmail.

Running Atomato and another app on the same page

Atomato adds its bell, feed and messages as its own elements and doesn't remove anything already on the page. By default it places the bell in your header, next to the cart.

If a popup, chat button or other widget uses the same part of the screen, move Atomato's messages out of its way:

• NotiPop position: in Settings > NotiPop styling, or from the Design button in a NotiPop campaign, under Desktop position choose Top right or Top left, and Below header or Corner stack. This applies to every NotiPop on your store. On phones, NotiPop shows across the bottom of the screen.
• Feed position: in Settings > NotiFeed styling, under Visibility, pick Desktop or Mobile and choose where the feed opens. See Change how the feed and bell look.
• Timing: in a NotiPop campaign's Display rules, set Appear after to a delay, a scroll depth or a period of inactivity, so it doesn't show at the same moment as your popup.
