What is Atomato and what does it add to my Shopify store?

Atomato is a Shopify on-site messaging app. It adds a notification bell and feed (NotiFeed) to your store, plus small NotiPop messages, NotiSell product recommendations, NotiEmail and NotiSMS signups, and Theme Launcher for scheduled theme switches.

What each part does

• NotiFeed: a bell in your store's header, or floating on the screen, opens a feed of your messages. A badge on the bell counts the messages a shopper hasn't seen yet. A message counts as seen once the shopper hovers over it or touches it, and their browser remembers it.
• NotiPop: a small message that shows on the page without blocking it. It can appear after a delay, after the shopper scrolls part of the page, or after a pause in activity. A sticky alert tab can stay on screen so shoppers can reopen it.
• NotiSell: products inside the feed. Shoppers choose a variant and add it to cart from the message, with an optional discount and a one-time or subscription purchase, depending on how you set it up.
• NotiEmail and NotiSMS: a signup form inside the feed. It asks for an email address, a phone number or both, can add one question, and ends on a success step that can show a discount code. New contacts go to the email or SMS platform you choose in the campaign.
• Theme Launcher: publishes a theme at a time you set, and can switch to another theme once your event ends. It shows no message to shoppers.

How you set up a campaign

In Atomato, click Create campaign. Under What are you trying to do?, open a goal:

• Promote a sale or launch uses NotiFeed.
• Grow my email & SMS list uses NotiEmail and NotiSMS.
• Increase order value uses NotiSell.
• Encourage shoppers to take action uses NotiPop.

Where shoppers see Atomato

Atomato shows on the pages of your Online Store theme once its app embed is switched on and saved in your live theme. See Turn on the Atomato app embed. It doesn't appear on Shopify checkout pages or in Shopify POS.
