Pause, end, duplicate or delete a campaign

You manage campaigns from Campaigns in Atomato. Pause a campaign to take it off your store for a while, end it early, duplicate it to reuse its setup, or delete it for good.

Theme Launcher campaigns have no Start Campaign or End Early button. See Schedule a theme switch with Theme Launcher.

Find your campaigns

Click Campaigns in the Atomato sidebar to open Manage campaign. Find a campaign with the tabs, the Campaign type and Campaign status filters, or search. Click its name to open its Campaign summary.

What each status means

• Active: showing to shoppers. Only Active campaigns appear on your store.
• Scheduled: waiting for its start date and time.
• Draft: saved, but not showing.
• Paused: stopped with Pause campaign.
• Completed: its end date has passed.
• Cancelled: stopped with End Early. There is no Cancelled tab, so look under All or filter by Campaign status.

Save a campaign as a draft

In the editor header, the status button shows the campaign's status. Click it to switch to Draft, then click Save campaign. To publish a draft, click Start Campaign on its summary page.

Draft only applies to campaigns set to Run campaign continuously. A campaign with a start date is saved as Scheduled, or Active if the start has passed. To hold back a Scheduled campaign, choose Run campaign continuously on the Schedule tab, switch the status to Draft and save. See Schedule a campaign.

Pause and restart a campaign

1. On an Active campaign's summary page, click Pause campaign.
2. Click Pause campaign again to confirm.

To bring it back, click Start Campaign, then Start campaign. It goes live straight away and is set to Run campaign continuously. To keep a start or end date, click Edit campaign and set the dates on the Schedule tab instead.

On the Free plan (called Starter in some app messages), one NotiFeed and one NotiPop campaign can be active at a time. Starting a second one of the same type shows Starter plan limit reached. Pause, end or delete the active one first, or upgrade. See Atomato plans and pricing.

Pausing a NotiSell campaign switches off its automatic discount, and starting it switches it back on. See Recommend products with NotiSell.

End a campaign early

On an Active campaign's summary page, click End Early, then End campaign. Its status becomes Cancelled. It works like pausing, including for NotiSell discounts, and you can start it again later.

Duplicate a campaign

1. On the Campaigns page, point to Edit in the campaign's Settings column.
2. Choose Duplicate as draft.

Atomato saves a copy with -copy added to the name, sets it to Draft and opens it in the editor. The copy keeps the original's messages, targeting and end date. A NotiSell discount is copied with (copy) added to its title. Before you save the copy:

• If the original ran on a schedule, the copy's start is set to the moment you duplicated it, so saving it without new dates makes it Active straight away. Set new dates first, or choose Run campaign continuously to keep it as a draft.
• On the Free plan, you can't save the copy while another campaign of its type is active, even as a draft. Pause, end or delete the active one first.

Delete a campaign

Choose Remove from the Edit menu on the Campaigns page, or click Delete Campaign on the summary page, then click Delete campaign.

Deleting removes the campaign and its analytics, and can't be undone. For NotiSell, it also deletes the campaign's automatic discount. To keep the results, pause or end the campaign instead.

Edit a campaign

Click Edit on the Campaigns page, or Edit campaign on the summary page. When you save a campaign that has dates on its Schedule tab, its status follows the dates: Scheduled if the start is ahead, otherwise Active, even if it was paused.

A Completed campaign has no Edit campaign button. To run it again as it is, click Start Campaign. To change it first, duplicate it.
