Recommend products in the feed with NotiSell
Choose up to six products, let shoppers add them to cart from the feed and add an optional discount.
NotiSell shows up to six products in your store's feed that shoppers can add to cart. You choose how products are picked and can add an automatic discount.
Before you start
- NotiSell needs Scale or Enterprise+. On the Free plan, NotiSell campaigns can't be saved or shown on your store. See Change your plan.
- NotiSell lives in the feed, so the bell must be on your store. See Add the notification bell to your store.
Click Create campaign, open Increase order value and pick Bestseller Spotlight or Trending Right Now, or choose Build your own NotiSell from Build your own campaign. Bestseller Spotlight has a 10% incentive titled Welcome 10 already on.
How shoppers see it
The opened message shows each product's image, price and button, plus a variant list where you kept several variants.
Choose how products are picked
On the Setup tab, write the Title (up to 70 characters) and Description, then choose a Method:
- Best sellers: highest total sales over the last 30 days.
- Trending: most units ordered over the last 14 days.
- Percent of inventory sold: lowest share of stock sold over the last 30 days first.
- Sales Velocity Drop: most net items sold over the last 30 days first.
- High inventory & low sale: most units in stock first.
- Manual: pick up to six with Search products or Browse.
Inventory methods only rank products that track inventory. With an automatic method, choose it or click Fetch products to fill Eligible products with up to six. If nothing loads, try another method.
Point to Edit next to a product to change its variants, Remove it or Exclude from recommendations. While you build the list, Fetch products adds the next ranked product if there are fewer than six. Drag to reorder. You need at least one product to save.
Keep the list up to date
The list doesn't refresh on its own. To refresh it, open the campaign, remove a product, click Fetch products and save. This loads a new list and resets your order and variant edits.
Choose one-time or subscription
Under Purchase type, One-time purchase hides subscription-only products, Subscription hides products without a subscription option, and Both shows either and lets shoppers choose.
Reorder with Smart sorting
With Enable Smart sorting ticked, NotiSell on a product page puts products Shopify marks as complementary to that product first, then the rest in your order.
Set the add to cart button
Enter the Button text (up to 30 characters). With Add product to the cart ticked, the button adds one of the chosen variant and opens the cart page, or runs your Custom Function After Add to Cart instead. Unticked, it opens the product page.
Add a discount incentive
Turn on Offer incentive and save to create a Shopify automatic discount, so shoppers don't need a code. The feed shows the reduced price next to the original, but the discount only applies to listed variants added with the NotiSell button. Keep Add product to the cart ticked, or shoppers pay full price.
- Enter a Title that no other automatic discount uses. Shoppers see it in the cart and at checkout.
- Choose Percentage (up to 100) or Fixed amount off each item, and enter a whole number.
- Under Discount selection strategy, All discounts every product added from this campaign, First only the first one in the cart, and Maximum only the one with the biggest saving.
- Under Combinations, tick the discount types it can combine with. If Atomato lists discounts it could combine with, test at checkout.
The discount switches off when you pause the campaign, end it early or its schedule ends, and back on when you click Start Campaign. Deleting the campaign deletes it. See Pause, end, duplicate or delete a campaign.
Choose the layout and audience
Click Design, open Visual Appearance and choose Stacked (Recommended) or Grid, then Save. This applies to all NotiSell campaigns. To limit who sees it, switch on Customer Segments and choose Specific customer segments or Specific customers. See Show a campaign to specific customers.
