Ask Shopify Sidekick about your Atomato campaigns

Ask Sidekick to find a campaign, explain what is in it, report recent results or link you to it in Atomato.

Shopify Sidekick, the assistant in your Shopify admin, can look up your Atomato campaigns for you. It finds campaigns, explains what is in them, reports recent results and gives you a link to open each one in Atomato. It only reads your campaigns and never changes them.

What Sidekick can do with Atomato

Sidekick works with NotiFeed, NotiPop, NotiSell and NotiEmail campaigns. NotiSMS signups are built as NotiEmail campaigns, so they count too. Ask in your own words, and it can:

  • Find campaigns by name, type or status. Part of the name is enough. Each answer lists up to 20 campaigns, most recently updated first.
  • Explain what is inside a campaign: the title, description and button of each message, the question, email, SMS and success steps of a NotiEmail signup and the platform it sends signups to, how a NotiSell campaign picks products and any discount it offers, and when the campaign runs.
  • Report results for one campaign, rank your best campaigns, count your campaigns by status and type, and sum up results across your store.
  • Give you a link that opens the campaign in the Atomato editor. Sidekick shares the link, and you click it.

To create, edit, pause or end a campaign, open Atomato under Apps in your Shopify admin sidebar. Find your way around the Atomato app shows where everything is, and Pause, end, duplicate or delete a campaign covers the changes Sidekick can't make.

Questions to try

  • "What's inside my Find Your Fit Quiz campaign?"
  • "Show my paused NotiPop campaigns."
  • "Which NotiFeed campaigns did best last week?"
  • "How many campaigns do I have in Atomato?"
  • "How did my Atomato campaigns do over the last 7 days?"
  • "Give me a link to my Holiday Announcement campaign."

If several campaigns share part of a name, use the full campaign name so Sidekick picks the right one.

How Sidekick reports results

  • Best campaigns are ranked by engagement rate unless you ask for clicks or impressions, and cover the last 7 days unless you name other dates. Sidekick lists up to 10 at a time.
  • The store summary always covers the last 7 days, today included. It gives impressions, clicks, click-through rate, engagement rate and NotiSell revenue, and compares impressions, clicks and revenue with the 7 days before.
  • For one campaign, Sidekick gives impressions, clicks, click-through rate and engagement rate, plus add-to-carts for NotiSell, and form submissions and email and SMS signups for NotiEmail.

Click-through rate is clicks divided by impressions. Engagement rate adds hovers and dismissals to clicks, then divides by impressions. Days are counted in UTC, so they can start and end at a different hour from your store's time zone.

When you compare Sidekick's answers with Atomato, keep in mind:

  • The revenue in the store summary is the total of orders that include a product added to cart from NotiSell. It leaves out sales that followed clicks on NotiFeed, NotiPop or NotiEmail messages, so it can differ from the revenue on the Analytics page. Read the Analytics page in Atomato explains how that page counts revenue.
  • For one campaign, impressions, clicks, both rates and add-to-carts are running totals, not totals for the dates you name, even when Sidekick's answer mentions a period. Only NotiEmail submissions and signups follow your dates. These answers also count unique impressions and clicks, while rankings and the store summary count all of them. To see one campaign's results for chosen dates, pick them on its summary page in Atomato, as shown in See how a campaign and each message performed.

What Sidekick does not cover

  • Theme Launcher schedules. Check them on the Campaigns page in Atomato.
  • A filter for completed campaigns. Sidekick can filter by Active, Draft, Paused, Scheduled or Cancelled (ended early). Completed campaigns can still appear in its lists, but to see only finished ones, open the Completed tab on the Campaigns page.
  • Who sees each message. Sidekick doesn't get a message's customer segments or targeting rules, so check Customer Segments and Target visitors based on in the campaign editor.
  • Changes of any kind. Sidekick can't create, edit, pause, end or delete a campaign. Use its link to open the campaign and make the change in Atomato.
